Predator is a 1987 American science fiction action film directed by John McTiernan and written by brothers Jim and John Thomas, and it the first film in the Predator franchise.  The film stars Arnold Schwarzenegger, Carl Weathers, Elpidia Carrillo, Bill Duke, Richard Chaves, Jesse Ventura, Sonny Landham, and Shane Black. The Predator creature effects were created by Stan Winston, who had previously worked with Schwarzenegger on The Terminator.  The score for the film was composed by Alan Silvestri.

The film stars Kurt Russell, with Wilford Brimley, T. K. Carter, David Clennon, Keith David, Richard Dysart, Charles Hallahan, Peter Maloney, Richard Masur, Donald Moffat, Joel Polis, and Thomas G. Waites in supporting roles.  The film’s score was composed by the late Ennio Morricone.

The Thing From Another World (sometimes referred to as just The Thing) is a 1951 American science fiction horror film directed by Christian Nyby and produced by Edward Lasker for Howard Hawk’s Winchester Pictures and released by RKO. The film stars Margaret Sheridan, Kenneth Tobey, Robert Cornthwaite, and Douglas Spencer. James Arness plays The Thing, although he is difficult to recognize in costume and makeup due to both low lighting and other effects used to obscure his features. The film is based on the 1938 novella Who Goes There? written by John W. Campbell.

Batman Returns is a 1992 American Superhero film directed by Tim Burton and written by Daniel Waters.  The film is a sequel to Burton’s wildly successful Batman released in 1989.  The plot focuses on the vigilante hero squaring off against corporate tycoon Max Shrek and the deformed crime boss Penguin, all while catching feelings for Selina Kyle and her mysterious alter-ego, Catwoman. The stacked cast features Michael Keaton, Danny DeVito, Michelle Pfeiffer, Christopher Walken alongside a myriad of amazing supporting cast members. Danny Elfman returns to compose the film’s score.

Alien: Covenant is a 2017 science fiction action horror film directed and produced by Ridley Scott and written by John Logan and Dante Harper, from a story by Michael Green and Jack Paglen, featuring music composed by Jed Kurzel.  A joint American and British production, the film is a sequel to Prometheus (2012), the second entry in the Alien prequel series, and the sixth installment in the Alien franchise overall, three of which have been directed by Scott. 

The film features returning star Michael Fassbender, with Katherine Waterston, Billy Crudup, Danny McBride, and Demián Bichir in supporting roles. The plot focuses on a colony ship that lands on an uncharted planet and makes a terrifying discovery.

Prometheus is a 2012 Science Fiction Horror film directed by Ridley Scott, written by Jon Spaihts and Damon Lindelof, with music by Marc Streitenfeld. The film stars Noomi Rapace, Micheal Fassbender, Guy Pearce, Idris Elba, Charlize Theron, and Logan Marshall-Green. 

Set in the late 21st century, the film focuses on the crew of the spaceship Prometheus as it follows a star map discovered among the artifacts of several ancient Earth cultures.  Seeking the origins of humanity, the crew actually discovers a threat that could cause the extinction of the human species.

Rico's military career progresses against the backdrop of an interstellar war between mankind and an insectoid species known as Arachnids.
